Christmas is not about presents. However, when the gifts show how well people know you - and that they are truly present to you - they have great meaning. I was blessed with such gifts this year from those closest to me.
My husband hunted up these very old printing blocks from India and got me 8 of them! He went a little overboard, but I'm not complaining! Aren't they wonderful? I can't wait to hang them on the wall, but I might have to play with them first.
I have been wishing for the new Annie Lebowitz book and guess what I got from daughter #2?
The lovely glass is from a set at "Fish's Eddy" in New York City. I had been longing for them on my last visit with my youngest daughter but I couldn't carry them home. And there they were under the tree. She also gifted me with a hand for my collection. Sweet.
My oldest sent me a mandala kit and a great photo of the boy. More later.
I'd say you had a lovely Christmas and you have some lovely people who gift you!!
