I missed TWO MONTHS of flea markets!! Oh, the pain.
But I finally made it to Pasadena City College this month. Had a lovely time strolling with my husband, losing him and finding him again. You know how that goes.
I also found these.
Can't seem to resist those folding rulers and the weathered silver pitcher is such a different shape. There are so many things I can do with those little old wheels. I mean, we need circles, right? And the box is so sweet.
Can you guess what these little things are?
Here's a close-up, if that helps.
No? They are reflector lights, but for what I do not know. One red, one green and two that are empty and just waiting for me to fill. With something.
Fabulous hammer, which I got for my husband, but he saw me get it, so it was an early Christmas present.
This is an odd little piece, isn't it? It's a rosary chain, but not part of a rosary, if that makes sense. And we think that is a conquistador on the pendant - what do you think?
I love this little match box holder. I'm using it for my business cards. It really is more beautiful than this photo.
But the big find was these wonderful wooden filing boxes, covered with different marbled papers, with brass locks and very cool spines. One is from 1936 and the others 1943.
Hmmm...join me next time when I learn to make those images smaller...
Meanwhile, Sunday the 15th is the Long Beach Flea Market! I'll be there, will you?
